Acoustic pollution from aircraft has plagued airport and urban populations more as air travel increases and small airports grow to meet the demand.
We work with commercial companies, DoD, and other government agencies to model aircraft-specific acoustic signatures and mitigate acoustic detection through a variety of means. New Urban Air Mobility (UAM) initiatives using hybrid and electric VTOL, STOL and CTOL aircraft are paving the way towards lower acoustic pollution.
